Launched last year, the Essie Neons 2013 collection included the Essie Bottle Service nail polish. I picked up this collection at the Olympia Beauty Show last year and have been meaning to swatch it for… well over a year now. So I’m going to start with this colour first.
Essie describes the colour as
score the best table in the house, scope the scene and pour on the party this scorching neon fuchsia nail color. cheers! essie tip: make your neon manicure pop: use one layer of ‘blanc’ under your essie neon shade.

LIMITED EDITION | 1 x 13.5 ml /0.4 fl oz
This definitely a fuchsia neon hue but I don’t think even with a white base that this is as loud as other neons Essie released in recent years. I feel as though this is somewhat of a toned-down neon pink. However the formula is very much typical of neons applying streaky on the first coat and a jelly-esque finish. With a thicker second coat, my nails are completely opaque as they dry down to a semi-matte finish. A layer of a shiny top coat gives each nail a high gloss finish.
A vibrant yet toned down neon pink hue that is completely opaque in two coats (over a white base). It may scream summer, but this can easily be worn in the winter too!REVIEW: Essie Bottle Service
