Today’s review features the Illamasqua Collide nail polish. This colour launched a few years ago and originally caught my attention because of how bold and bright it looked in the bottle. Unfortunately since then, I hadn’t found a great opportunity to wear this bright hue. However being such a standout colour, it certainly deserves a place in this month’s feature post.
Collide is described as a bright neon pink with a satin finish and I certainly agree with this. This neon pink applies quite sheer on the first coat with a few streaks but dries almost instantaneously to a satin finish. With a thin coat of the polish, the second coat builds up the opacity and conceals the errors made on the first coat. However the colour is still sheer and with a thin third coat, I obtained full coverage. After adding a thin layer of top coat, this vivid colour was sealed in and made super shiny.
Fact of the Day:
The biggest risk factor, after gender, is increasing age – 80% of breast cancers occur in women over the age of 50.
