I came across these beautiful swatches of the Orly Surreal Fall collection on Instagram and I knew instantaneously that they belonged at home with me. All of the colours stood out to me for one or more reasons but I thought Pink Waterfall would be a great pick for my 31 Days Of Pink.
Orly describes this colour as,
Your daydream leads you down a path to an extraordinary pink waterfall. Soak it in.
Orly Pink Waterfall
LIMITED EDITION | 1 x 18ml / 0.6 fl oz
This is a stunning bubble gum pink with heavy blue undertones that makes this colour look like a lilac at certain angles. The formula was very thick and applied slightly heavier in certain areas creating an uneven base and the drying time was also longer because of this. I applied a thinner layer for the second coat and even though it covered any visible gaps from the first application, unfortunately it didn’t level off evenly as it dried. Adding a top coat helped to disguise the unevenness and added some high gloss to look.
A lovely bubble gum crème that leans towards a lilac in certain lights. The formula is more so on the thick side but with some care, application can be more even. Add a top coat and you're set!REVIEW: Orly Pink Waterfall
