31 Days Of Pink
The Ciate Raspberry Collins nail polish was released this Summer in their Suncatcher collection. Included in the collection was a topcoat that makes the polish glow in the dark creating two looks for the price of one.
Today’s nails have been coated with Butter London’s Disco Biscuit. I’ve had this polish in my collection for quite a while but for some reason I didn’t reach for it sooner. To say that this was a hidden gem, would be a complete understatement.
During June, I went on a huge shopping spree on the Ciate website as they were offering 50% off majority of their products. I pretty much fell in love with their Spring collection this year and thought this was an ideal time to own the whole lot. One of my favourites in this 9 piece collection was Candy Floss.
I bought the Essie Good Morning Hope nail lacquer last year at Olympia. It was released as part of a quartet of shades created to celebrate and raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness month. I’m not the biggest fan of pastels, but I was drawn to this colour because of its name. It’s such a powerful message and I strongly believe no matter your situation, every new morning that you see is a new opportunity for a positive outcome.
Another pretty pink from the Flash Summer 2010 collection is the Zoya Jolene nail lacquer. I had to buy the whole collection as it featured six bold brights; perfect for hot summer days.. Today’s pink is brighter than the first nail lacquer I reviewed in this collection but just as girly and fun.
Today’s review features the Illamasqua Collide nail polish. This colour launched a few years ago and originally caught my attention because of how bold and bright it looked in the bottle. Unfortunately since then, I hadn’t found a great opportunity to wear this bright hue. However being such a standout colour, it certainly deserves a place in this month’s feature post.
