From their Chilli and Spice Summer 2013 collection, I chose to review the Mavala Trinidad polish for two reasons. Firstly because of the name as I was born and raised in the Caribbean so the name ‘Trinidad’ brings back good memories for myself. Secondly I chose this polish for the colour. I love the colour blue and as this would be my first time trying a Mavala polish, I thought this would be a great colour to try.
The Mavala Chilli and Spice Summer 2013 collection was released earlier this year
Turn up the heat this Summer with the new Mavala Chilli and Spice Collection. This six piece offering, inspired by tropics of far flung destinations, packs a colourful punch and consists of the hottest most vibrant hues for the Summer months
Trinidad is a mesmerising royal blue crème polish. The formula was extremely pigmented with the first coat alone giving full coverage. With two medium thick coats I had solid blocks of rich blue on my nails. The finish was incredibly glossy on its own but I added a thin coat of top coat for reassurance.
